    Rear interior side panels

On a 65 T bird convert. White interior. Is there anyone making the R&L rear interior panels. Purchased new door panels but the rears really show there age. Bleached bright white from the sun. I was told I could paint them but I think I would need a vinyl paint matched to the same color. Any suggestions?

You are correct that the quarter trim panels aren't being reproduced. SEM products makes a number of different shades of white vinyl sprays. You can get them at most auto paint stores. Your only other option is to have some vinyl paint custom made to match the door panels. Most auto paint stores can do it if they have a sample to use.

Yep, John is on the money here. I had the same issue with our Oldsmobile when we first got it. Had a local paint shop color match some SEM vinyl paint for me and load it in rattle cans. Still have some of it left...

Just use the SEM vinyl prep and the panels will last better than you would think. I'm on at least 8 years since I did my dash and door panels on the olds.
