    Buckaroo's Dad Has Passed Away

Not to long after Dennis & Dena returned from their cruise, his Dad got sick and passed away on Monday morning. Dennis has given me permission to post about it. Here is what Dennis had to say.

"It is unfortunate that I am informing you that my father, Harold Gorder, passed away on Monday morning, March 17. It was less than 3 weeks ago he was still living on his own in his apartment. He went into the Watertown Hospital on Tuesday, March 4. On Friday, March 7, we moved him into the Highland House, an assisted living center in Waterloo. We also had Hospice visit him as necessary. On Sunday he said good bye to us and said he was going to die on Monday. Hospice was there to keep him calm and comfortable. I am so thankful I retired last fall so I had time to spend with dad this winter. Dad was the only reason Dena and I got into Model Ts. His first car was a Model T racer. It is a long story on how we got our first Model T. I will save that for another time."

Dennis & Dena, I wish to extend to you and your family, our condolences on the loss of your Dad, on behalf of your Forum. You will always have the fond memories of him, and his love for Model T's and classic cars to carry with you. Time will heal the loss, but thankfully, those good memories do not fade.
