    Hot T Bird inside issue

I get excessive HEAT inside my 59 Bird.
Even with the underhood valve turned off...I still get "flow thru" heat inside the interior...not bad in winter, but in summer...hard for the a/c to overcome this...
    any ideas?
is a vent not closing? any suggestions welcomed....

Somethng is wrong with your valves. If you shut of any of them, flow stops. When flow stops, heat does too. You can prove this by pinching off one of your heater hoses with a pair of vice-grip pliers. If the jaws are too narrow, include a couple metal plates to squeeze the rubber hose flat.

Closing off your heater hoses will not affect engine cooling. - Dave
