    Gold Bird is back!

    Well, after four months at the body shop the car is finally back home again. It had several issues that needed repair, chips, blisters and so on. It looked like a simple job, but as always was not. The guys did a great job on the re-paint, ended up spraying the entire car again. Now it needs a little tlc in the the engine compartment, four months of body shop dust! Happy new year to my fellow Bird friends!

              Tom, she looks beautiful! Awesome as one of the guys said! It was well worth the wait for the job they did on her. Your Dad must be proud of the way she looks again!

                          Thanks to all for the nice comments, it really does look nice, real smooth finish. The hood shot does not show the real color very well, side shots are more true. Just needs some clean up on the engine compartment and it will be ready for showing off!

                                  Very Very nice Tom. Come Spring you'll be able to show her off. I guess it's hibernation time for her now. I bet your Dad's just as over the moon as you are.
