You're lucky to have found a car with the chrome around the headlights and the taillights. Too bad they didnt come from the factory that way!

Was it just a painted panel otherwise? I haven't seen many of them outside of mine.

                    New Pic:

Yes, the headlight covers, the air scoop, the curved tail fin pieces, and the bar over the tail lights were all painted the same color as the car. I think that those pieces chromed on a black Squarebird in particular really sets that car off. It is the difference between wearing a suit and wearing a tux!

Ray I agree with your analogy of " wearing a suit or a tux" with this 60 squarebird. The chrome really pops off any black car especially when it's a 57 Lincoln MK II.

This car may be up for sale soon as I am likely moving overseas for a while. Special deal for anyone the forum that may be in the market.
I'll make an official post in the for sale section too, but just a heads up

                          New Pic:

David informed me this afternoon that it appears he will be going overseas to work in the near future. That probably means that he will have to sell his beautiful Black Raven '60 J-Code Golde Top, unfortunately. He informed me that if he has to part with it, he wants to give members of our Forum first dibs at it, at a reduced price. If there are no takers, he will advertise it elsewhere. But he would rather one of our members who he has gotten to know and appreciate, give it a good home. This is very kind of him and greatly appreciated. He got this Tbird in very, very good condition, and has fixed and improved things that were needed since he has it. It will be nearly like getting a new Tbird. If you want to learn more about the car, read through the thread "My New j-code" by villain, in the Golde Top Forum. There about five pages to read and view pictures of it. If he does have to part with it, he will, as he said, advertise it first in the For Sale Forum only for our people on this Forum. David, I know if you have to part with it, you are not going to like having to do so. But I know you want to know that it goes to someone who will cherish it and take very good care of it.
