  • Welcome, Yellowbird !!

Welcome, Leonard! Leonard hails from North Texas and owns a '58 Hardtop! Leonard, I see you are in our "Waiting For Email Confirmation" queue. You should have received an email from webmaster@squarebirds.org asking you to confirm your email address. Look in your Junk, Spam, Delete or Inbox folders for that email and act on it. When you do, it will move your membership request over to the "Waiting For Moderation" queue where I can act on it and approve it. Always glad to see another Texas member. "YellowRose" will have some company with "Yellowbird"! If you would like to show us some pix of your gal, you can email them to me and I will post them. My email is rayclark07@gmail.com If you need help with your Tbird, post in the '58-'60 Squarebirds Forum. If you need help in navigating our Forums, contact me. Enjoy your stay!

    Welcome aboard Leonard!

I see you have a rare 1958 Bird. My parents have an ongoing restoration on their 1958 right now. Where abouts in TX do you hail from? We are in Wichita Falls, TX.

          Hello Jon,
We're located 14 mi. NW of Ft. Worth in Azle off Jacksboro Highway. It's about 1.5 from Azle to Wichita Falls. I apologize for the slow repsonse, I've been out west on business. Yes, my wife Debbie and I have a '58. She's Casino Cream and White. We are the 3rd owner. It is a CA, car and was driven from the Sacramento area to Ft. Worth a few months ago. All the orgignal papers were with the car. She was bought on Sept. 22 1958 in Sunnyvale CA. Payments were $ 93.47 for 36 months. It's really cool having the paperwork to review. The owner kept his maintenance information a pocket spiral notebook-every oil change, grease job, new tires, shocks, all maintenance. So, I can verify that the 106,000 mileage is correct. Of course she needs work, what doesn't at 51 years old.
          Where are your parents located?

Leonard yes, it seems that our membership is growing by leaps and bounds by the month. With every new member we get valuable input to our site and also knowledge that all can use. It's especially nice that we have another 58 owner, as the number that are survivors is increasing, as the first year production numbers for 58 were not high. FYI in case you don't know the 58 Thunderbird was voted the " Car of the Year"
