Lou and Marilyn Paliani are members of the South Texas Tbird Club (STTC) of which I am VP of these days. I had been missing emails from Lou or talking with him, so I finally called to see how he was doing. It turns out he was in a local hospital recovering from a broken hip for a fall, and then later, a staph infection. Here is what Lou has sent to me to let ya'll on here who know him, how he is doing.
To All My Friends......29 Nov broke right hip from a bad fall. Imissed a change in elevation on a wide expanse of concrete. Operation.....got a new ball joint and after two weeks I was walking again. The pain medicine stopped working and I was 911ed to hospital. Infected.... Operation to clean it out then antibiotics / pain pills and therapy. This can't be cured however it can be controlled. I have been home 2 days from the hospital a using a walker. Need to heal / learn to walk / given it my best. I am feeling inspired to beat this. My Best to all of you Lou
