At All-ford Carlisle, I had the fortune of speaking with the owner of one of the 1967 Ford Thunderbird Apollo, E. Gene Martini. This was a customized car sold by Abecrombie and Fitch in 1967. I believe it cost $13,000 new. It had as standard equipment all the Thunderbird option for 1967 including the sunroof. In addition it had as standard equipment chromed door jambs, a fog light, an ice sensor, radio telephone, television and rear reading lights. It may have come with a 12 volt electric razor. this example is the only one built with a 390 engine. The rest were 428's.
This car has been repainted. It should have been a lighter shade of blue.
