1960 Tbird - 2Dr Hardtop For Sale - Due to ill health of owner.
Location: Sante Fe, Texas, between Houston & Galveston.

Car is his Dad's Tbird that the family is selling.
Restoration Information:

Engine 352 - complete rebuild.
Tranny - rebuild.
Rear End - new gears & bearings.
Fuel tank new, Radiator New, New water pump.
New hoses, new fuel pump, new fan shrouds.
All gauges work except the clock, Heater OK.
Blower controls all work, blower motor runs good.
Surge tank good condition.
Generator & starter rebuilt, electronic ignition.
Rebuilt distributor, Exterior Lamp gaskets replaced, all Lamps work.
Front windows power - Rear windows, no motor, fixed in place.
All glass good condition, vent glass new, all window seal rubber replaced.
All window guides front & rear replaced w/new felt.
New head liner off white, both sun visors new, white.
New vinyl door covers, black.
Low part kick panel black carpet.
New carpet front & rear black w/red floor mats.
New foam seats & back rest, front seats covered w/black vinyl.
Both dome light, door switches new w/red LED lamps two front- two rear light up.
Under dash & under front seats lights up.
Rear seat area plus dome light (white).
New exterior & interior door handles, left door.
Both right & left Thunderbird name plates.
Both right & left fender top ornaments.
New AM/FM/Cassete radio.
All weatherstrip new front doors, roof rail, rear windows, vent windows.
New original style trunk mats with spare tire cover.
New left side mirror.
Body Work - New rocker panels, new metal.
Replaced both rear lower fender panels.
Replaced lower right fender panel.
Replaced metal spare tire well.
Replaced 2 inch both sides rear tips of trunk lid.
Replaced 2 inch area in front of hood.
Inner body panels after repair was rust treated & then sound deader sprayed into all.
areas of front fenders, rear fenders, rocker panel area & door panels.
To complete the project, have new AC compressor, Valve & filter.
Needs 5 new tires, spare rim for spare & jack.
Recent 4BBL carb rebuild.
Brake booster rebuild, this style is located inside under dash, tight fit.
Power steering control valve rebuild.

With exception, Jan.2015-Aug.2015, engine was started every 2-3 weeks and run until well temperature rise.
Also has battery about 1 year old.

It would cost around NZ$5,000+ with freight (particularly as it's not on the West Coast) duty, taxes etc to get it here - then a few more Kiwi pesos to get it sorted enough to be registered etc to be legally on NZ roads. (Change headlights to dip to the left, fit suitable seat-belts etc).

Our Kiwi dollar is worth 66 U.S. Cents if you want to do the maths! (I figure US$3,300+)

Now is not the time for us Downunder guys to be looking into bringing cars in, unless for a ****-of-a good price.

And have you checked the price of Squarebird here? No change from NZ $20,000 and more!
