Larry Gillispie ~ LarryG is a brand new member of the Forum and brand new Paid Member also. Larry has been around Tbirds and other classic cars for years, so this is not his first rodeo on working on classic cars. He hails from Washington and recently found out this Tbird was available and bought it. It is part of that 427CI and Flairbirds story that has been covered in the past, so I won't go into that here. Larry has two '64's and a '65 Flairbird at present. Two of them, including this one, are in the Tbird Registry already and one is not. He is in the process of evaluating it, and I gather, starting the restoration of it. He is interested in tracing back the history of it. From what has been said about it, it was shipped to a San Jose dealership originally, according to the Data Plate. The story goes that it was bought by the husband of a woman named Joan, for her and she had it for quite a few years until it was sold to someone else. Who left it sitting for many years, until Larry found out about it, and bought it. Here are some pix that Larry sent me.
