hey bird lovers, does anyone know how to test the brake relay on my 64 hard top? The same relay #c3vb-14512-b I'm told and read somewhere is used for different circuts such as conv. top and low fuel. My brake lights don't work but tail and turn signals do work. please take pity on this old man as I'm not to electrical savvy. thanks, Larry. Also the brake switch on the mast. cylinder is new, Thanks again Larry

To test the relay remove the plug and put a jumper wire from the green wire to the green wire in the plug. If your brakes work then the relay is bad. If they still don't work then it could be the circuit breaker in the fuse box or a wiring issue.

That's good to hear. The brake light switch is alot cheaper than a new relay.
