  • Over Heating

    Had my carburator rebuilt & on way home engine over heated. Has been over heating ever since. Replaced thermostat & still the same. Not sure if having carb. done has anything to do with it. Can't figure out why it's running so hot.

    Lean air-to-fuel mixture can cause excessive heat. Wrong timing can too. Check your heat riser valve to make sure it isn't stuck shut.

        Might check to make sure your temperature gauge is reading right. Changed everything once and found out I had two different bad sensors. Good luck
