  • by-passing the heater hoses

Iam going to buy some BW engine block sealant. This stuff is harmfull if it gets in the heater core. one line is 3/4 and the other line is 5/8.What could I use to join these two lines together until I drain all of this BW fluid out. Larry Ihave a 62 with several cracks in the engine block.

    Hey Larry,
    3/4" I.D. or O.D. 5/8" I.D. or O.D.?
I would get a galvanized reducing bell, with female threads in each end that will fit inside each pipe. Get two short nipples, one for each side. Put three pieces together with teflon tape. Slide hose clamp on each header hose and slide fitting into place. Tighten clamps, start car and check for leaks.
