There's nothing worse than taking the time to answer someone's question and have it ignored. I won't make that mistake again. Hopefully someone else can help you in the future.

I forgot it was posted and did not go back and reread the thread. My bad. I will remove the unit and update when things are done and she is running again.

Got the AC and its bracket off. Took about 30 minutes to get everything apart and the pump access was simple. Got lucky, the lobe the pump in on was in the sweet spot, pump will go back in with ease. Waiting for parts at this point.

Hi Tim, I am glad to hear that you had success with it, and that it should go back together with ease when the parts get there...

Thanks. I think while it is apart I may replace some belts.

I plan not to put the AC bracket back on. Can I mount the Coil where the top bracket bolt is located (near the WP). Looks I could with no issue.

I have all my parts. Even on the new pump that darn canister was hard to get off. Wanted to make sure it had a filter in it as some do not come with them. Now I have a extra filter. I hope to get to it this weekend but below 30 again and in my garage it is still cold, I have a heater mounted on the wall right above the front of the car so maybe I will let it run for 30 min or so and deal with it. I need this baby running so I can turn it around and back it in and tuck it closer to the wall on the pass side then. I have not been able to get my other Miata out of the garage for almost a month now. She needs a little drive time.

Well after more hours then I want to admit to get it going the old girl is running again. Once all together, poured gas in carb and 3rd try she started up and ran just fine. Going to rain tomorrow so I will have to wait for another day to get it out and drive.

Tim, congratulations on getting her running again. I hope the rain will let up so you can get her out and road test her.
