what are your plans for the 59, Is the body as solid as it looks in the pictures?
Now if you can only pick up a 60 you will have the whole "set"

    nice looking 65....................

RustyNCA, I would tend to agree eventually you can own all the squarebirds with a 60. That's a nice looking 58, did you restore it yourself and what is the colour code??

The body on the 59 is very solid, I think it is actually in better shape than my 58's body, the advantage of the 58, the paint is still a 20 footer. You know in CA tho the 59 is a parts car .

Yeah, I have done all the work on the 58, it is a Casino Cream color, which I really like. I don't remember the code tho. The 59 and 58 would make an interesting pair, they are both powerwindow cars.

Plans for the 59, not sure yet, I want to get it home, see what kind of shape the motor and trans are in. Interior is complete but shot. I am thinking of making it a project car with my 15 year old son.

Looks like the '65 is a Special Landau.. ? That's kinda rare.

Yep, It is the Special. Single Owner car with 86k miles on it. The thing is very mint. Has only a few very small things to deal with. Looks like the dimer portion of the headlight switch is bad and the safety control switch on the col is bad.

Came with a pile of extra parts. Two extra carbs, powerwindow motor, overflow tank, set of skirts, two back windows, one front, 8 or 9 window visors, stainless for the back window, two extra mirrors, man I can't remember all the rest of the stuff. Filled up the trunk with stuff.

RustyNCA I thought it looked like Casino Cream but the picture didn't do it justice.I too, have always liked that colour as it tends to stand out from the other calours. There was one up here at a local car auction over the weekend and man did they do a hatchet job on the paint job. It looked more like
                  " Mustard Cream".
