I have the new ignition wire squared away so we decided to take the two wide whites out for coffee this morning. Perfect weather and morning for a cruise.

The splash shields have been blasted and powdercoated in satin black. New seals with 1/8" rivets. Just drill where the staples were. Easy job :-)

Very nice Tim. It's amazing the amount of Car Shows that I've been to over the years. Some of the Cars are stunning all around, except for the Splash Guards & it makes them look like crap. I don't know if it's an oversight or just laziness. Mine are always clean, & when at a Car Show I spray my Tyres with Tyre Shine & I also spray the Splash Guards as well.

The sent box had my mail box full. I had no other notifications prior to today.

I used this dual outlet I used:

The drink holders were "Dual Size Stainless Steel drink cup holders" for poker tables on Ebay. I had an issue with paart of the hump on the forward cup holder due to the support boss. The rear cup holder works and looks great. The front one sits up a little.

You will have to either cut the holder, dent it or dent the boss on the tunnel. You could also go with a smaller cup holder or find one that is shallow.

Thanks Tim for responding. How hard would it be to dent the boss? Would moving both holders back fix that issue. Yours look great centered. What did you use to cut the grate for the holes?
I found the 4 inch stainless holder on ebay, it measures 4 x 2.25 guessing this is same one you bought. Did you have enough depth under the grill or did you have to modify or remove anything? Looks like another project.

I used a Dremel to cut the speaker grille. I actually kept the original and bought another one and cut that one up. I kept the entire stereo system intact and just put it in a box.

The depth was my main concern when I lined everything up. I always have a large McDonalds drink with me so i wanted the larger holder. Once I had it cut and dropped the holders in I found the issue. You could go with smaller holders or cut/dent that part of the hump. I already had everything put together when I got the cup holders so I did not want to take it all back apart to pound down the tunnel.

Thanks. Do you think your holders were deeper than 2.25"?
