  • Please Help Blues65...

Paul ~ Blues65 is a brand new user who has a problem he needs assistance with regarding a Squarebird. He posted this down in the Welcoming Forum, but I am posting it here so you can give him some assistance. Here is what he had to say.

"I am a member of the custom shifters of San Jose (http://www.customshifters.com/) I current own a street rod í65 Barracuda (360 Magnum, 4 speed, 8 ĺ sure grip rear) and a í30 Model A Coupe Hot Rod (350/350 8 inch rear), Sorry I can't post pictures. One of our members has a friend who is in a bind. He was having his 58 or 59 TBird steering column repaired by a friend of his and his friend has been diagnosed with terminal leukemia and cannot finish the job. Last week my buddy Glenn and I went over to his shop and began to assess the situation. I ran a continuity check on the turn signal switch (itís Ok) and we know how to hook it back up but when we started assembling the column realized the wiring must be routed inside the column tube (diagrams in the Technical Forum confirmed the assessment). Later this week we will fish the wires down the column tube and out the lower tube cutout. I am not sure what the upper cutout is for but the indicator lamp wire was routed out the upper cutout (I donít think that was right). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank You
    Paul"

Any advice you can give Paul to help finish off this project for his friend, I am sure will certainly be greatly appreciated.

Can someone give Paul some guidance on that upper cutout and the routing of the indicator lamp he is asking about? Thanks...
