Got an email about why we painted the Bird in the middle of the shop floor.
The reason is that it has been raining for a few weeks in Oklahoma and it's quit humid when it's not raining and the paint booth is a flow thru booth meaning the fresh air comes in the filters and exit's out the back of the booth which draws the air across the car and the humidity with it, which would make the clear milky looking, so we elected to run the booth with the doors closed to exhaust the over spray from the shop. It worked great but also took more time between coats needing to tack rag the body off each coat. The Bird will need only minor wet sanding and a quick polish after it's complete.
We kept the shop floor heated to 85 degrees and used the heaters to dry the air so we could control the humidity better between coats. Couldn't wait on the weather any longer.
                    Charley
PS-- It's raining today and for the next five days.

Still no sun in Oklahoma. But rolled her outside.
