Our latest member, lexdownunder, sent me pix of his beautiful '59 Black Raven Tbird. Also of his '68 Mustang and his '23 Tbucket! I will post the Tbird pix first. Enjoy!

Hi Mike! Yup, there was a '60 in one of those pix. I asked Lex about that. Turns out the people he bought it from had a '59 and a '60 and they sold him the '59 and kept the '60.

Not bad at all. That reminds me of the T-Bird I was searching for back in the early '90s. A black '59 with black & white interior. I searched & searched, then settled on my 430cid 1-owner '60 Bird.

Looks like 2 of the rear tail lamp lens need to be turned over (they are upside down).

Surprisingly good fit of the trunk in the corners. Most cars I have seen, incl. mine, have a dive in the corner of the trunk. This looks realy good with a even surface between the trunk and the bezel.

I received an email from Lex this morning with good news. Here is what he had to say.

"Had a big day yesterday. Took the Tbird over the licensing pits & she passed with flying colours. I have a full road license now so I can drive her whenever I like.......YAY!!!!

I took the car home today which created a lot of interest in the village where I live. Got plenty of "thumbs up" & toots on the freeway too. Susan LOVES the car & has already driven it through every street in the village.
Ahhhhh.......it's great to own a Thunderbird."

They are thinking of starting a Tbird club in Perth! I say Go For It!

After Greg said something about '60 in garage I took closer look. Low and behold Lex has two Squarebirds! I wish my wife would let me get Christine a sister! Pink convertible?

Lex and Susan probably wish the red one was theirs also! That pic with the red one in it was taken before Lex bought the black one. The previous owner kept the red one!

Hey Greg,
I like your way of thinking! Wife works out of town five days a week, huh wonder if I could find a place on twenty-five acres to hide another Thunderbird:rolleyes:
