Some Tbirds DO have a trunk lite in them. Bart's does, and I think some of our other members have mentioned that they do to.

For those of you who do not have one, it is not hard to add. Alexander did the work for us several years ago. Bart put one in. Alexander gave you the schematic on how to do or fix yours.. You will find it here on Page 1 & 2.

Now you can either fix yours or make one!:D I have put this in the Temporary Technical Resource Library on Fortune City because I do not see it in our TRL. You can find what should be a better copy of the trunk lite schematic here:

I added this Ford item that includes a mercury switch to my trunk lid. This is obviously a different item than originally used. My MPC (see attached) shows a bare light bulb on a bracket attached to the trunk lid with a screw through the right side hole in the "L" opening of the trunk lid for both convertibles and HTs. This unit does not appear to have a switch.

Hi Howard,

That appears to be the trunk lite that MAC was offering for sale before they dropped it. It was not the original light, but it looks like a very nice installation.
