Hi guys, Wondering how hard it is to convert the 60 body to power windows? My 58 parts car has the power windows etc.... But wondering if they are a direct bolt in or if the doors have to be cut and changed over etc.....

Nothing needs to be cut as far as the doors go. Your '58 regulators will fit fine in your '60 doors and quarters.

If you have obvious manual crank holes, they need to be covered.

If you have obvious manual crank holes, they need to be covered.

That's the biggest downside of going from manual to power windows. Your door panels will have holes in them. With '60 door panels you can replace the trim piece without replacing the whole door panel.

Or there is a company that makes a conversion kit that keeps everything as is and uses the window cranks as the switch, best of both worlds, looks stock, modern convenience.

Works well and often used by street rodders. Google should find it.

Thanks so much guys for the helpful info! If the original set up from the 58 will work then that's fine with me(: saves me money! Lol
