Auction Offers Rare and authentic, One-of-a-Kind, 1950ís Ford Thunderbird Neon Sign Up For Bids on March 13th, 2016

Included in this auction will be an extremely rare and authentic working 1950ís Ford Thunderbird neon sign.

This neon sign was purchased from a Westminster, CA Ford dealership back in the early 1960ís when they were closing their doors and going out of business.

This neon sign hung in their front window beginning in the mid 1950ís when the Ford Thunderbird was introduced to the American people in 1955.

This beautiful sign is in working condition and comes with itís original working transformer.

Preview is from 12pm - 5pm and auction will take place at 5pm on March 13th, 2016, at the Ritz Gardens located at 11201 1st Ave in Whittier, CA 90604. You can bid live in person, by phone, or online.

The auction is over. The site doesn't say how much it went for.

Estimate was $20,000 to $200,000 with a starting bid of $10,000.

The same sign turned up in a February eBay ad wanting $120,000 for it.

That kind of thing is for people with more dollars than sense.
