Hey there Dave I'm baaaaack and have another question but this time it isn't engine related! I finally got the thing purring like a kitten (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaoXq9B1NLU&list=UUSXsLPTvkDd3TdAYAHsmS8A).

In any case I was wondering if anyone has a good lead on where to find the roof rail weatherstrip for my 1960 Lincoln Premiere 4 door pillarless landau. I'm not sure if anyone has had to replace theirs in their T-bird or Lincoln but I already yanked mine out and need to put in some new stuff. http://i62.tinypic.com/mj7fyw.jpg

Good to see you back again and it's great to see you got your 430 going. That engine is not easy to restore.

I may have lucked out with Herb at Lincoln Old Parts. Since my sedan is pillarless I just need two long strips. Karr Rubber Products in California is the only place in the nation that has the mould to make the original product with the metal band.

I guess the product from Karr is mediocre at best but Lincoln Old parts is working hard with him to get the right chemical balance in the rubber so we end up with a lasting product. This is what I ordered and I'm hoping it will do the job. Thanks for all the leads though guys but after talking to everyone all the roads lead to Rome with the Karr mould. I contacted Steele Rubber Products and they would be willing to take on the mould design but they are already like 3 years behind in that department so we will just have to wait until Karr gets the right balance of materials.
