Yea, my 59 is back on the road again! :D
She was in a pretty big mess when I got her, no turn signals, dome light, backup lights, hi beam indicator, radio didn't work, wipers didn't work, window felts and rubbers were all gone, horn didn't work, power booster was froze up, just to mention a few, but she is up and running again.

All new wiring from headlights to taillights.
Complete rebuilt engine with mild street cam,2105 intake & 4160 600cfm carb
Rebuilt transmission
Ken Harrison KHE300-USB stereo.
New 2 stage power booster and dual master
Raised rear end 2"
Converted clock to tach
This is the short list, but something tells me Ebay will be able to squeeze by without me :)

So, when do we see some pictures?
How did the conversion go for the 2 stage power booster and dual m/c? Did you keep the drum brakes and just convert to the dual system? Also, does your car have A/C? I'm always looking for "current" info on this item.

I am planning on converting to disc brakes once my tires wear out, but they are almost new right now, so until that day comes, I am running just drum brakes.

The brake conversion went ok I guess, I just had to make a spacer bracket to give my booster enough room for the brake rod adjustment to be accessed through the holes in the oem bracket.
I am going to add a vacuum reservoir to the booster and I should have that today. At idle, I only have 13" of vacuum, so that should give me some extra vacuum at idle in traffic.
Kept the drum brakes for now, but plan on converting when my 14" tires wear out. No ac

Just installed this vacuum reservoir and it made a huge difference in lowering the foot peddle pressure needed at idle.

Nicely Done. I need things like this for inspiration. Mine will also be white with a red and white interior. Hope mine comes out looking as nice.

Larry I agree with Nyles very nicely done as the engine bay has cleaned up very nicely and presentable. I suspect the red wiring was for your daughter due to the interior colour:rolleyes:
