1956 Ford Sunliner Convertible

This could be called the one that got away.  I had this convertible for four months but decided it was too much work.  I bought if after it sat in my buddy Greg's Shop for 20 years before he finally relented and let me buy it.

Its was diamond in the rough, but is very straight and relatively rust free.  The story behind the car... the car was brought up from California in 1982 by a friend of mine who purchased it as a project.  The car hadn't been on the road since 1976 but was all there and rust free.  When Greg's life changed due to circumstances beyond his control, he sold the Sunliner to me.  I realized that with two small children and a busy life, now was not the time for me to take on another project.  So I put it on Ebay and sold it.. It was purchased by a gentleman in Memphis, Tenn. and you can watch it come back to life at http://www.rodshopofmemphis.com/
