BlackBird58's homepage I bought this '58 hardtop in March of 2005. It's Raven Black with the red and white vinyl interior. The motor is a 390 from a '61 Thunderbird. Features include: power steering, brakes, windows and seat, clock, backup lights, and wiper/washer (non-functioning).  I am the third owner of the car. The second owner purchased it in 1963, and gave it to his son in the mid 1970s. In 1979, his son restored the interior and upgraded the stock AM radio to an AM/FM 8 track player. I purchased the car in March 2005 with approximately 135,000 miles on it. Since owning my T-bird, I've done basic maintainence and a few fixes. I installed a tach, which can be seen here. I've also put in a 7-blade flex fan and have a fan shroud I hope to get on there before summer driving season! |
