The Technical Articles contained herein are from Vintage Thunderbird Club International Scoop magazines of the 1990's. They are used with the permission of the VTCI leadership and the permission of Alan H. Tast, AIA. For many years, Alan Tast has been affiliated with the VTCI in one capacity or another. In the past, as VTCI Scoop Editor, and VTCI President. More recently as the VTCI Scoop Technical Editor and he still maintains an extensive Thunderbird database. He is also the author of the books Thunderbird Fifty Years, in conjunction with David Newhardt, and Thunderbird 1955-1966. If you are restoring a Tbird of those years, you should have these books. The following articles cover the five Paper Work aticles of Alan Tast, AIA, from May-June 1991 to January-February 1992. If there were any more articles regarding Paper Work, I do not have them. The January-February 1992 is the ONLY Scoop I have for that year. Please keep in mind that some of the information in the Lois Eminger invoices article is outdated or no longer accurate. For instance, it was NOT Lois Emingers' husband who was involved in the handling of these invoices. It was Lois Eminger herself, as she said later on in the September-October 1991 issue of the VTCI Scoop. Her husband had already died before she got involved with these invoices. Also, later on she passed these invoices on to Marti Auto in Arizona. See their website for that information regarding these invoices. The club she was a member of might have some information on some of these invoices also. Some years ago, Lois Eminger passed away.

Some of the invoices might be hard to read, but please keep in mind that I am copying from magazines that are about 15 years old. The master copies used were not all that legible because they were already some 30 years old and often printed on flimsy paper.

I just had a conversation with Alan Tast and he told me that he still has a need for copies of ROT/Build Sheets, Gate Releases, Factory Invoices, Dealer Invoices, Window Sticker Invoices, etc.. There are still, after all these years, some ROT Sheet/Build Sheet and other codes that he does not have any data on. If you have not, in the past, sent him any copies of these papers listed you can still do so. Makes copies as legible as you can and mail them to: Alan H. Tast, AIA, 14704 S. 227th St., Gretna, NE 68028. Do NOT use the addresses in these old Scoops. The address listed here is his current mailing address. Or you can send them by email to: tast@earthlink.net. Hopefully, your copies will have missing data that he needs for his research.
